Job Satisfaction..."I love my job.  Each day I have the satisfaction of knowing that my career is helping to make the world a better place.  The responsibilities of being the official "Keeper of the Record" makes me excited to go to work every morning.

I graduated from CRIL in April, just a couple of weeks before taking the NCRA national exam.  I waited impatiently for the results, and was greeted with a great reward a month later.  I'm an RPR!  All of my hard work and dedication has paid off.

I owe it all to the amazing staff at the Court Reporting Institute of Louisiana.  I would not be where I am today without their belief in me and constant words of encouragement and support.  They are more than just employees at a school.  Over the short two years that I was at CRIL, I gained much more than a certification.  Even now, although I am no longer a student (but a professional reporter!), I know I can still call Sherrijean if I have any questions, a word of advice, or simply need to hear a friendly voice.

Thank you to everyone at CRIL who has enhanced my career and my life!

An Inspiration and a Blessing...My name is Danielle Harrell.  I go to the Court Reporting Institute of Louisiana.  I enrolled at this institution and began classes in January of 2006.   I am currently in the speed category of 160.  My goal is to be certified in May of 2008. The Court Reporting Institute of Louisiana(CRIL)  has been a wonderful experience as well as a blessing in my life.  I couldn't ask for a better place to be.  I am learning to be a professional while achieving my goal to become a Certified Court Reporter.

CRIL is not a school based on "graduation."   We are a school STRICTLY set on not only graduating from the program, but to actually become "Certified" Court Reporters.  Our school is very structured and very encouraging.  The instructors are wonderful, and my fellow classmates are all just as determined as I in ascertaining this goal.  We have a wonderful director, Mrs. Sherrijean Husser.  She is very encouraging and keeps us motivated.  She is an inspiration to all and we appreciate her guidance.

I would recommend CRIL to anyone interested in the profession of court reporting.  For anyone willing to put forth the effort in pursuing this career, CRIL is the place for you and we would gladly welcome all dedicated new students.  I can't express how wonderful this program is.
God Bless!

Danielle Harrell

Not Just About Graduation...I am Bonnie Allison a student at the Court Reporting Institute of Louisiana. I started in April 2006, and I am currently typing at 180-200 words per minute. I absolutely love reporting, and I am so glad I chose to go to CRIL. The Director of the school, Sherrijean Husser, and the rest of the staff, are very encouraging and really care about seeing us not only graduate, but become successful court reporters.

The students at CRIL provide an excellent support system for one another. Learning to be a court reporter is hard work, but very satisfying. I would definitely recommend CRIL to anyone who wishes to enjoy a career as a "guardian of the record."

Happy to be Here...I am Marsha Cazes and I have been a student at CRIL almost two years. I was very happy with my decision to start school here at CRIL. I did not realize how much went into court reporting until I started school. This program is very informative and thorough. My life here at CRIL is very encouraging and positive.

I am now preparing to take the national court reporting test, and I am very proud of the way this school prepares me for that. Once I finish school, I look forward to working in the field of court reporting. It is a fun and exciting profession and I can't wait to start.

One on One...My name is Cynthia Miranda. I am originally from Houston. I attended court reporting school there and transferred to CRIL when I moved. Being able to compare, I really enjoy the one on one attention that CRIL offers. My favorite aspect of CRIL is the people--the staff and the students. I am glad to be here pursuing a career I am excited about. As a single mom I am looking forward to the flexibility and financial stability court reporting can offer. I am enjoying my time here at CRIL and look forward to sitting for the RPR in May.
