Court Reporting Institute of Louisiana (CRIL) is a court reporting school which opened in January 2000 for the purpose of educating men and women to work as judicial reporters, broadcast captioners, and CART providers. CRIL is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Regents and adheres to the rules and regulations of the Louisiana Proprietary Schools Advisory Commission. CRIL also is accredited by the Council for the Commission on Occupational Education and is approved byt he U.S. Department of Education to provide Title IV funding.

Sherrijean Husser, CCR, RPR, CRI, the owner and Director has worked as a court reporter since 1985, a medical transcriptionist since 1981. She is a Certified Court Reporter in the State of Louisiana. Ms. Husser is also a Registered Professional Reporter and Certified Reporting Instructor by the National Court Reporters Assocation (NCRA). She is the authorized officer fot he Institute in all matters relating to State approval and licensing, accreditation, and Title IV funding.

Court Reporting Institute of Louisiana currently employs 18 full- and part-time employees to provide students excellent services and opportunities to complete the program.
